BOB ACKERMAN Bob Ackerman is referred to as one of “Cyber’s Money Men” by major business publications for his experience and leadership in venture capital investing in Cyber Security start-up technology companies. With 20 plus years of experience as a venture capitalist, Bob is the Founder and Managing Director of Silicon Valley-based Cyber Security venture capital firm Allegis Capital and the Founder and Executive Chairman of Founder’s Equity Partners, a direct secondary investment firm that also invests in cyber security companies. Prior to his career as a venture capitalist, Bob was a serial entrepreneur as a CEO and founder of two successful technology companies, including leading UNIX technology company UniSoft, and InfoGear Technology Corporation, the visionary creator of the original iPhones.

STEVEN WITT Steven Witt is a founder and former CEO of Onyara. Earlier in his career, Steven worked as a management consultant in the tech and energy industries at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Steven is also a former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer with a focus on real-time intelligence production and analysis at scale. Prior to joining the CIA, Steven was awarded multiple honors as a member of the US Foreign Service. Steven has a BA in Computer Science from Macalester College. YONALD CHERY -  Chief Technical Officer  Mr. Yonald Chery has over 20 years experience as a high-tech entrepreneur, innovator, executive, inventor, & mentor in both the private-sector and government. He returns to the private-sector, after spending 7 years working at the U.S. Department of Defense in the greater Washington DC area on complex issues at the intersection of innovation, technology, and national security. Prior to his recent government service, he founded Virtual Ink (mimio) , Newbury Networks, and has advised scores of other ventures in the Boston start-up community. Mr. Chery currently holds 10 patents in the United States, 4 patents in the United Kingdom. He has a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, both from MIT, leaving the Doctoral program to pursue his passion for entrepreneurship.

KAREN ELIADIS - Finance Karen is the Founder and CEO of Laurel Advisors, LLC, which provides financial consulting to Data Tribe. Prior to starting Laurel Advisors, Karen was the Chief Financial Officer of BlueRun Ventures, a global venture capital firm with more than $1 billion in assets, based in Menlo Park. She was previously Director of Finance of Sofinnova Ventures, a Menlo Park-based technology and life science venture capital firm. Prior to Sofinnova, Karen was Managing Director, Finance for a private equity firm and held senior finance positions at several large organizations. She is a CPA (inactive) and began her career at Deloitte. Karen is actively involved in the venture community, and is currently on the board of the West Coast Chapter of the Private Equity CFO Association. She has also served as chair and board member of VCBC, a 250+ member organization of finance professionals in venture capital and on several committees of the NVCA CFO Task Force. Karen is a regular speaker at VC and private equity CFO conferences is also active within the Oakland CA non-profit community.

TAYLOR DICKINSON  -  Marketing & Media A recent graduate from the University of Alabama, Taylor received her bachelor's degree in Communication and Information Sciences and graduated with Magna Cum Laude. She has work experience in TV video production, athletic and academic recruiting, social media, and event planning. She was extremely involved on and off of campus all four years at the University of Alabama. Taylor had the opportunity to lead one of the largest recruitment processes in the nation and was extremely successful. Her organization had a 99% return rate after each round. In her social media experience, Taylor was responsible for over 350 girls individual social media accounts to make sure they were upholding the values of their organization.

FRANZ HENGGELER - DataTribe Fellow With more than 12 years working with small businesses, Franz has obtained extensive experience in business operations, contracts, finance, business development, negotiation, and acquisition support.  Prior to being at Data Tribe, Franz worked as a business analyst for Henggeler Consulting Inc., a cyber security contractor located in Columbia, MD that was acquired by Raytheon in 2011. Most recently Franz has been assisting small cyber security companies in the area with post acquisition and transition support.  He holds degrees from University of Delaware, University of Baltimore and Johns Hopkins University.
